Thomas Kersey was practically born an entrepreneur. In high school, he worked hard on a tennis racket-stringing enterprise where he began by doing favors for friends before quickly growing into a small business with 500+ happy customers.

Once in college, Kersey intended to study law. He even worked in a law firm to gain experience, focusing mainly on estate planning, asset protection, and probate, but soon discovered it wasn’t what he wanted to do. While he enjoyed helping clients, he found no pleasure in a repetitious law career. It was time to reevaluate.

At the time, Kersey had an uncle who worked in commercial real estate and always encouraged Kersey towards it, noting his natural skill for entrepreneurship. Figuring he had little to lose, Kersey took a real estate course with his uncle, passed, and they quickly formed a sales team together in Georgia. Not long afterward, Kersey saw a clear need and an opportunity for growth in Bluffton. With his eye on the luxury market, Kersey made a big move.
